Mai Luong founded KIB in 1997. While KIB began as a small business with the day-to-day operations run by Janice Luong-DeNuto, over time it has grown to become one of the largest Asian brokerage firms in the New York City metropolitan area. KIB has experienced consistently exceptional business retention rates due to the high level of customer service it provides on behalf of its clients.
In 2007 Neal Brown and Kathleen Hoffmann-Brown assumed ownership of KIB. The business remains true to its original purpose of serving the Asian market and does so by managing this core market with the expertise of Joey Chiu and Amy Li.
As KIB continues to grow, the firm has expanded the business model to transfer its superior level of service into the general marketplace. Currently KIB operates as a General Agent and Brokerage firm selling, Group Health, Life, Dental and Disability benefit plans.
